Intercultural Cup – 18th July 2009
FUN Beach Tournament
The Volleyball Association of Ireland in conjunction with Kerry Local
Sports Partnership and NPAR invite companies/businesses/local
communities in the Kerry Region to enter a team to a Fun Beach
Volleyball Tournament on Ballybunion Beach Saturday 18th July which
will be running alongside the Kerry leg of the VAI 2009 Outdoor Circuit.
No Volleyball experience necessary as FREE Coaching Sessions
available for your team!!!The theme of this tournament is FUN and PARTICIPATION and aims to
promote cultural diversity through sport. This event is an excellent
opportunity for a fun day out and to take part in a new sport! The rules
of the game will be modified to allow for easy participation by all
regardless of ability or experience in the sport.
Intercultural Cup Fun Competition details
• All players must be over 18 years of age
• Each team must contain at least 2 non-national players
• SpikeBall rules (adapted FUN Volleyball Game)
• Ballybunion Beach on July 18th 1pm – approx 5.30pm
• 4 v 4 mixed FUN competition, at least two females on court at all time.
To get involved simply register your team by returning team entry form
along with €15 team entry fee. You can select which FREE coaching
sessions (all or any) your team would like to attend to learn new skills
or brush up on existing skills. Come along on July 18th with shorts,
shades and sunscreen and enjoy the FUN!!
